Leather Art Exhibition Kicks-off Print E-mail

At the art gallery of the Natural History Museum of Mongolia, a special exhibition of leather art to be named “Ulamjlal” or “Tradition” was opened on July 28, 2010.

The Federation to develop Mongolian leather art and the Natural History Museum of Mongolia are co-organizing this exhibit.

 Delegate of organizers stated that, the main aims are to support young artists and to develop a national tradition. There are various works of art, which were made by leather, by famous artist P.Battulga, young artists B.Suvd-Erdene, D.Naranbaatar, G.Burmaa, B.Sukhmyagmar, A.Sergelen and Ts.Solongo in the joint exhibition.

This leather art’s exhibition will be available for public viewing until August 8, 2010 in the Natural History Museum.

In addition, the museum is open for public between 10am to 4:30pm on everyday.
