Cabinet Makes Economic Decisions Print E-mail

The Cabinet approves the national list of concession, which includes some 91 projects and works mostly of infrastructure and basic social services, issues relevant resolutions. The ministers supported the concession list with the purpose of commencing these important projects and works as soon as possible or beginning from this July.

Another issue approved by the Cabinet of Minister was the establishment of Development Bank and regulations of the Bank. Consequently, heads from the National Development and Innovation Committee (NDIC) and the State Property Committee (SPC), were commissioned to commence the Bank’s activity within the 3rd quarter of 2010.

The ministers approved the Bank’s establishment in the hope that the Bank is of great importance for the successful and timely implementation of big projects and programs approved by the Parliament and for ensuring of active engagement of Mongolia in these projects and program. The Prime Minister Batbold instructed authorities of the NDIC and the SPC that the Bank must be managed by an internationally accepted professional team.
