During ICPEN (International Consumer Protection and Enforcement
Network) event, delegates and participants discussed how to protect
consumers’ rights and how to address urgent problems in market economy.
In addition, ICPEN is a network of governmental organizations involved in the enforcement of fair trade practice laws and other consumer protection activities. This is formerly known as the International Marketing Supervision Network (IMSN), a member that is in charge of the trade practices, law enforcement authorities from more than three dozen countries, and members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The next ICPEN conference will take place in Washington DC, USA on May 6-7, 2010. |
