‘Durvun Berkh’ exhibition opens

Cultural Merit Worker and Union of Mongolian Artists prized painter D.Gungaa, Union of Mongolian Artists prized sculptor A.Ulziibaatar, artist M.Bayarmagnai and skillful young artist D.Khaliun opened “Durvun Berkh” at the exhibition hall of the Union of Mongolian Artists, on view from February 14 to 24.
“Durvun Berkh” means four challenges and refers to the traditional game of knuckle bone throwing. It is rare to throw four different sides representing horse, camel, sheep and goat at once. When the four animals are represented, it is beleived that everything you wish for will be granted. Four different artists’ views, methods, thoughts and experiences are shared in their artwork, which is why they named the exhibition “Durvun Berkh”.
The artists welcome all visitors to the exhibition hall of Union of Mongolian Artists to admire the graphic works by D.Gungaa, paintings by D.Khaliun, traditional pantings by M.Bayarmagnai, and sculptures and engravings by A.Ulziibaatar.
