Mongolia wins three medals at freestyle wrestling tournament in Turkey


The men’s freestyle wrestling tournament named after Turkish Olympic and World Champion Yasar Dogu took place in Istanbul, Turkey, on February 15 and 16.
The Mongolian national team won three medals at the Yasar Dogu Wrestling Championship.
International Sports Master from Gatsuurt Olympus Club B.Nomin won a gold medal in the 57 kg contest, and State Honored Athlete and member of Aldar Sports Committee G.Mandakhnaran won a bronze medal in the 65 kg weight category on the first day of the tournament. On the following day, International Sports Master E.Nyam-Ochir from Khilchin Club won a silver medal in the 61 kg contest.
