553 officially registered taxis operating in Ulaanbaatar

Currently, there are 13 registered taxi companies operating a total of 533 official taxis to meet the demands of over a million residents in the capital city.

However, it is typical for the residents to catch unofficial taxis due to lack of information about taxi service providers and their hotlines.

The official taxis charge 1,000 MNT for the first km of the journey and 600 MNT for each km from then on. The service also charge an additional 1,000 MNT for picking up passengers from their desired locations.

Hotlines listed below are available 24 hours every day and provide reliable taxi services that are safe, risk free and do not overcharge.
