Winners of a city clean-up contest visit Hong Kong and Singapore

Eighteen employees of the urban development company, Appointment Scheduling Services, received certificates to travel to Hong Kong and Singapore. The company’s best teachers and workers were honored at an awards ceremony, organized by the Office of State Governor, the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar and the Ministry of Education.
Mayor of Ulaanbaatar E-Bat-Uul pointed out that the awards were not just a celebration of individuals, but that people today should be rewarded for contributing to the country’s development. A “City and District Without Trash” competition was held in all districts between July through October. Winners of the competition received certificates to travel to Hong Kong and Singapore. Sukhbaatar district won first place and received a prize of 5,000,000 MNT. Chingeltei district took second place and 3,000,000 MNT and Bayngol district took third place and 1,000,000 MNT.
Nine custodians, five drivers and four carriers will travel to Hong Kong and Singapore.
Sixty-five primary school teachers, 83 secondary school teachers and 30 kinder garden teachers received 335,000,000 MNT in prizes.
