Peace Bridge repair scheduled next week

A crack appeared at Peace Bridge and the bridge is set to undergo repairs next week, according to road repair plans for 2013.

The Official in Charge of Monitoring at the Ulaanbaatar City Auto Road Authority (UCARA), B.Enkhmandakh, said, “In November 2012, the front of Peace Bridge cracked, and due to weather conditions, its repair was postponed until 2013. Express Zam was selected from a tender bid and will start repair work next week. The state allocated 210 million MNT for the repair. Currently, there have been no further  cracks or damage to the bridge.”

UCARA will monitor the repairs.
