Competition for eco-friendly fuel manufacturing equipment design announced

By M.ZOLJARGAL

The Nature Conservation Foundation of the Ministry of Nature, Environment and Green Development (MNEGD) recently announced a competition for the design of eco-friendly fuel manufacturing equipment, open to designers, engineers, technical officials and innovators.

The equipment must produce a fuel using livestock manure. The competition aims to support national manufacturing, and most importantly, reduce dependency on carbon dioxide emitting fuel by finding eco-friendly sources that will benefit the environment and public health.

Registration for the competition will last until November 20 and the winner will earn the opportunity to have their equipment sold on the Mongolian market with the financial backing of the MNEGD.
