Sports journalists travel by bicycle

The Mongolian Sports Journalists Federation and Mongolian Youth Federation’s “Young Cyclist” club have jointly organized the sports journalists’ cycling journey and hike on August 23 and 24. The journey’s purpose was to support the appeal of having bicycle paths in the city. Around 30 members of the Mongolian Sports Journalists Federation took part in this event. They traveled by bike from Nalaikh to Terelj, and then hiked to the mountain still on their bicycles. Journalists from various television channels, namely, TV5’s N.Baterdene, Sportbox’s J.Tsetsegmaa, C1’s B.Naranbaatar, as well as D.Javkhlan from the “Zuunii Medee” newspaper successfully participated in this event.

The Mongolian Sports Journalist Federation often organizes competitions to promote various sports activities among its members.  The sports journalists’ new working session commenced with the sport of cycling, hence, this activity.
