Triathlon State Championship taking place in Arkhangai Province

 

The Triathlon State Championship, organized by the Mongolian Triathlon Union, will start on July 27, at Ugiinuur, Arkhangai Province. The competition will operate according to the rules of the International Triathlon Union.

The competition will be organized in four classes, namely male, female, boys and amateurs. The purpose of this competition is to promote the sport of triathlons, which is now emerging in Mongolia, and to select triathlete teams. Prizes for the competition total two million MNT.

Competition classes:

Female elite and boys- 600 meter swim, 10 kilometer bike and 3 kilometer run
Male elite- 800 meter swim, 15 kilometer bike and 5 kilometer run
Amateurs- 200 meter swim, 5 kilometer bike and 1.5 kilometer run
Competition fee: 5,000 MNT (under 16 years of age, 3,000 MNT)
