N.Altankhuyag Becomes 27th Prime Minister of Mongolia

During yesterday’s plenary session of the Parliament, the issue of appointing the Chairman of the Democratic Party (DP),N.Altankhuyag, to the position of Prime Minister of Mongolia was discussed. The regulation to elect N.Altankhuyag to the 27th Premier of Mongolia was approved by 42 votes from members of Parliament (MPs).
The Chairman of the Democratic Party faction in the Parliament D.Erdenebat, MP Ch.Sainkhanbileg, Deputy Speaker Ch.Ulaan, Chairman of “Justice” Coalition faction in the Parliament N.Battsereg, and MP, Chairwoman of the Civil Will Green Party (CWGP) S.Oyun promoted as the new Head of the Democratic Party (DP) N.Altankhuyag to the position of the Premier of Mongolia and submitted his name to the President of Mongolia, Ts.Elbegdorj, on August 8th.
