Officials of Denmark visit Mongolia


Speaker of Danish Parliament (Folketinget) Mogens Lykketoft has recently arrived to mark his official visit to Mongolia at the invitation of Mongolian Parliament Speaker Z.Enkhbold from March 2 to 6.
The Danish official visitors include First Deputy Speaker of Danish parliament Bertel Haarder, Second Deputy Speaker Pia Kjaersgaard, Third Deputy Speaker Camilla Hersom, Fourth Deputy Speaker Anne Baastrup, along with the family and the Secretary-General of Folketinget Carsten U. Larsen.

The high-ranking visitors from Denmark were welcomed at the Chinggis Khan International Airport by the member of the Parliament and the Vice-Chairman of the Mongolia-Denmark parliamentary group, R.Burmaa; the Office of the Parliament’s Secretary-General, B.Boldbaatar; and its Chairman of the Foreign Relations and Cooperation Department, Ts.Narantungalag. During this official visit to Mongolia, Speaker Lykketoft will meet his counterpart and the State Great Khural, Z. Enkhbold; Mining Minister D.Gankhuyag; Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold. He will also meet President of Mongolia Ts. Elbegdorj and members of the Danish Mongolian Society to learn about Mongolian and Danish government programs.
