Speed Skaters Set New Records

Mongolian Speed Skating Team had successfully competed in the Canada Open Cup in Calgary, Canada.
International Sports Master, D.Delgermaa, competed in the four Distance Classes in the tournament. She set a new Mongolian record of 42.23 seconds in the 500 Meter placing 24th among 91 athletes, she also ran 1.24.59 seconds in 1,000 Meters placing 19th among 62 athletes and a time of 2.08.22 seconds in the 1,500 Meter category, ranking 16th among 46 skaters that competed. She also ranked 11th out of 39 athletes in the 3,000 Meter distance with a time of 4.49.71 seconds.
She scored a total of 173.217 points averaged in Overall Results, which is a new record for the highest score in Mongolian Speed Skating.
International Sports Master G.Uuganbaatar, competed in Men’s 1,000 Meter and 1,500 Meter races. He set the Mongolian record for the 1,000 Meter with a time of 1.13.83 seconds, also another Mongolian record in the 1,500 Meter competition with a time of 1.52 seconds.
Mongolian skaters participated in the tournament were coached by D.Enkhbayar.
Over 90 skaters from more than 10 countries including Canada, USA, Finland, and Holland competed in this tournament.
