Indian Dance Competition 2016 concludes


The Mongolian Children’s Palace, Indian Cultural Center in Mongolia, and Embassy of India in Mongolia jointly organized Melody of Ganga River, or the 19th Indian Dance Competition, on March 15 at the Mongolian Children’s Palace.
The Indian Dance Competition had six categories for three age groups and presented 30 solo and 20 group dances. Over 200 dancers from Arkhangai, Selenge, Uvurkhangai, Zavkhan, Darkhan-Uul, Bulgan and Govisumber provinces, and Baganuur, Nalaikh, Khan-Uul and Chingeltei districts participated in the competition.
Dance teacher of Baganuur Province N.Nandin-Erdene and dance teacher of Uvurkhangai Province G.Enkhsaikhan were prized at the competition.
Ambassador of India Somnath Ghosh awarded prizes to the winners of the dance competition.
