French speaking countries film festival to take place

Alliance Francaise de Ulaanbaatar and the Embassy of France in Mongolia are jointly organizing the 7th annual French-speaking countries film festival on March 12 and 13 at Tengis Cinema.
The Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development in Mongolia, Embassy of Canada in Mongolia, Golden Reel Association,  and Tengis Cinema are also cooperating on organization of the festival.
Alliance Francaise de Ulaanbaatar chooses and screens the best and latest films in French for the annual film festival. Most of the films have been screened at international film festivals.
This year seven films from France, Switzerland, Canada, Belgium, Italy, Egypt, and Lebanon will be screened. Canada has been chosen as the special focus country this year, and two Canadian films will be shown during the festival.
During the opening of the film festival, visitors will have the chance to meet the Swiss director Frederic Baillif. His 2015 film “Red Carpet” will be shown.
All films will be in French with Mongolian subtitles. Prices for ticket is 3,000 MNT.

March 12 at 2:00 p.m. - Red Carpet
March 12 at 5:30 p.m. – The Passion of Augustine
March 12 at 8:00 p.m. – One in a Lifetime
March 12 at 10:00 p.m. – The Connection
March 13 at 1:00 p.m. – Laurence Anyways
