Junior athletes travel around Japan

Within the frames of the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths Program (JENESYS), 17 Mongolian junior athletes traveled around Japan from February 15 to 23.
During their travel, the athletes were introduced to the preparation work for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games, and visited the arena that hosted Nagano 1998 Winter Olympics, Nippon Sport Science University and Matsumoto University.
The athletes also gave physical examinations and muscle growth tests.
The Mongolian National Olympic Committee, organizing committee of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia are jointly organizing the JENESYS Program to support young athletes.
The Mongolian National Olympic Committee and Embassy of Japan in Mongolia chose the 17 junior athletes for the program in view of their past achievements to prepare them for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
