Khusugtun folk group performs in five countries


Runner-up of the “Asia’s Got Talent” show Khusugtun Mongolian folk group performed in Singapore, Jakarta, Canberra, Hanoi, Vientiane and Sydney through a cultural promotion program.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia is aiming to promote Mongolia throughout the world. The ministry cooperated with Mongolian embassies in Singapore, Jakarta, Canberra, Hanoi and Vientiane, and organized Khusugtun’s performances.
Khusugtun won second place at “Asia’s Got Talent” show, which took place in Marina Bay Sands, in Singapore, in May 2015.
Khusugtun’s throat singing (khuumii) around an open fire at “Asia’s Got Talent” took listeners to the ancient mountains of Mongolia and touched viewers and the judges each time it was performed. Thousands of international viewers saw the performances of Khusugtun on “Asia’s Got Talent” and were in awe of their skill and talent.
