New kindergarten opens in Chingeltei District


In the 7th khoroo of Chingeltei District, a newly-built kindergarten opened yesterday, and will be able to offer over 200 children with a warm and comfortable place to receive an early education.
Over 1.2 billion MNT was issued from the Rural Development Fund of the Chingeltei District to build Kindergarten No. 224, with 180 million MNT spent on building a high-voltage line to the building and installing a reserve generator.
There are a total of 13,933 children of kindergarten age in the district, and only 9,354 were able to enroll in kindergartens this year. In the 7th khoroo there were 1,269 children of kindergarten age, and 600 were unable to enroll.
The kindergarten’s manager, L.Erdenechimeg, said, “Over 180 children have enrolled in the kindergarten, and we have six classes. And more than this, we have the potential to enroll 150 more children in the future. Our kindergarten now has an electric heater and Abyssinian well. Cameras have been installed in all classrooms to monitor them 24 hours a day, and 32 people now have permanent jobs.”
