Uliyastai-Gachuurt road opens


An 11 km road from Uliyastai to Gachuurt opened on October 26.
The road spans through 23rd, 28th and 20th khoroos of Bayanzurkh District, and from Uliyastai junction to the final stop of Gachuurt.
Uilsyn Zam Co. completed the 11 km road construction in three months. The company is giving the road a three-year guarantee, and promised to do repairs should the need arise. Ulaanbaatar Netgel will be responsible for the general maintenance of the road.
The executor fixed and widened the road to eight meters and built a two-meter tall bridge and lighting with a 6.1 billion MNT funding.
Uilsyn Zam Co. specified that the road is unique in the sense that the previous road paving was recycled for the foundation.
Deputy Mayor of Ulaanbaatar N.Gantumur, Head of the Ulaanbaatar Transportation Office D.Nanzaddorj, Ulaanbaatar City Council member B.Otgonbayar, Bayanzurkh District Council member Ts.Batkhuu, Bayanzurkh District Mayor D.Purevdavaa and his deputy T.Battsogt were present at the opening of the road.
