Khad FC wins cup at the first Women’s National Football League


Khad FC took the cup in Mongolia’s first Women’s National Football League Tournament, which was held from July 21 to 27.
The top eight women’s football teams in Mongolia participated in the competition: Titem Khujirt, Mongolyn Temuulel, Khad, Erchim, Darkhan-Uul Province, Arvis, Tuulyn Tom Tulnuud, and Khan-Uul District.
Khad FC won the cup after winning seven games in seven matches. Khad FC scored 22 goals and lost two goals during the tournament.
Forward of the Khan-Uul District team U.Undrakh was selected as best forward of the tournament, scoring 12 goals. Khad FC’s B.Namuun was named as best midfielder. The best defender was B.Mungunzul of the Mongolyn Temuulel team, and Erchim FC’s B.Nomingerel was named as best goalkeeper.
The Women’s National Football League aims to strengthen the participation of female athletes in football, to prepare the women’s national team and increase their participation in international tournaments.
