Mongolian Facebook users start #ХогBucketChallenge campaign

Mongolian Facebook users started the #ХогBucketChallenge (trash bucket challenge) nationwide, at the same time as the beginning of the Naadam holiday.
The rule is, three people who were called on by a challenger should collect three bags of waste in any location of Mongolia within three days, and should call on the next three people to continue the challenge. If they cannot fill three bags and post about it within three days, they should give the janitors of the Public Service Authority a domestically produced product that costs no less than 20,000 MNT. Young people are actively engaging in the challenge. People who’ve been engaged in the challenge are posting their activities on Facebook, marking their posts with the hashtag #ХогBucketChallenge.
A participant in the challenge, six-year-old Tengis, called on advisor to the President of Mongolia O.Chuluunbileg, Press and Public Relations advisor to Chairman of the Mongolian People’s Party J.Jargalsaikhan, and CEO of MNG Event Mng Daka to take part.
They accepted the boy’s challenge and posted photos of their efforts in cleaning the waste on their Facebook pages. J.Jargalsaikhan called on CEO of TV-8 television S.Otgonmunkh as one of his three challenges.
“I cleaned waste on the banks of the Selbe River as best I could, upon the invitation of my friend J.Jargalsaikhan to participate in the challenge,” TV-8 CEO S.Otgonmunkh posted, and announced a call for MP G.Bayarsaikhan, Singer T.Ariunaa, and Director of Lady Center R.Lkhagvadulam to take part in the #ХогBucketChallenge.
The #ХогBucketChallenge continues to spread throughout Mongolian social media.
