Ts.Bayasgalan participates in ‘MOST’ theater festival


Artist of the Mongolia State Academic Drama Theater Ts.Bayasgalan is taking part in the 5th International Chamber Theater Festival “Most”, taking place in Hannover, Germany from March 29 to April 3.
T.Bayasgalan will open the festival with “I am Edith Piaf” monodrama today.
All participants of the festival come from renowned theaters of their respective country.
The festival’s name “Most” means “bridge” in Slavic languages and so the festival can be viewed as a bridge between cultures and countries.
Ts.Bayasgalan won the Grand Prix at the International Monodrama Festival, which took place in Peje, Kosovo on April 16 to 22, 2014. She competed with artists from 16 countries, such as France, the UK, the US and Yugoslavia, with her musical monodrama “I am Edith Piaf” about the life and artworks of famous French singer Edith Piaf who became widely regarded as France’s national diva, as well as being one of France’s greatest international stars.
